"Josh creates some of the best medical artwork I've seen in the legal exhibit industry. He pioneered the Cinematic Summary of Injury (CSI) exhibit, stacking the radiographic films to build 3D models of fractures — it looks incredible, and clients with big damages cases love them." — Andy Greenhaw, Digital Strategist

02 — WHY US

Leave nothing to the imagination.

Internill is a medical-legal illustration company creating compelling, detailed exhibits that represent your client's personal injury trauma.

We partner with attorneys and medical experts to build accurate visuals — a bridge for communicating with opposing experts or presenting to a jury.

Medical and anatomical topics are hard to convey to a lay audience, and a plaintiff's suffering is often under-communicated without drawings that translate the medical expert's knowledge into your client's specific case. Expertly crafted visuals that make no compromises and leave nothing to the imagination are fundamental to maximizing outcomes.

Our team is unique in that we have both the doctor and medical-legal illustrator in-house. You can utilize your own medical expert, but we provide additional support and experience from years in the medical-legal exhibit industry and in clinical medicine.

Joshua Klein, MSMI, earned his Master of Science in Medical Illustration from Augusta University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Toledo.

He worked as an illustrator, 3D animator, and department manager in medical animation across medical education, personal injury law, and the pharmaceutical industry with High Impact in Colorado, before establishing Internill to help clients directly. He is Director of Illustration at the Neurosurgical Atlas.

"When I was 10 years old my family went through an extremely challenging time when my dad experienced an accident on a construction site. I spent weeks in the hospital as my father fought for his life — then years of physical therapy, follow-up surgeries, and a court case which didn't go well. I can't help but wonder if having a medical illustrator back then could have helped my family's outcome. Today it is part of my passion for representing clients who have suffered injury."

Sara Dressman, DO, attained her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine and is in residency at the University of Cincinnati.

Sara's natural creativity and attention to detail are critical to Internill's medical accuracy and strategic positioning. As a passionate physician she brings expertise in clinical medicine, and as a gifted communicator she ensures our projects completely fulfill their goals.

"As an internal medicine resident, I approach each patient's case with meticulous care and unwavering curiosity — noting their distinct needs, values, medical history, and cultural context. My awareness of the dynamic between culture and medicine sharpened during rotations on the Navajo reservation, where words are believed to shape outcomes, and I balanced indirect speech to honor their culture while still gathering essential information."
